Digital Equipment. Made famous when then-chairman Olson said in the 50ties 'I see a global demand for about 5 computers' ... yeah.. DEC once challenged IBM for global dominance, but failed sadly. They struggled, and were bought by COMPAQ in the 1990'ies (which were bought by HP in the 2000's :-)
