Personal Notes:
Found one of these for really dirt-cheap, cool, never thought I'd lay hands on
one without taking muchos dinero into my hands.
Commodore bought the little company Amiga which was developing a set-top TV box,
and built it into a full blown computer, using an OS which was more designed for
mainframes than for homecomputers. But, on the other hand, it even today has the
best multitasking capabilities (besides UNIX, of course), and ten years ago,
people didn't even know what this means or how to use it. It was even able to
have different resolutions and color-depths on the SAME screen. Sure, today,
when we run 1280x1024 in 32bpp anyway, it makes no difference, but think in
yesterday's dimensions, and you'll be whoed :-)
